EASY SHEPARDS PIE

Ingredients:
Peeled / quartered potatoes
Butter
Salt
Onion
Garlic
Frozen mixed veggies (peas and carrots)
Ground beef
Beef broth
Worcestershire sauce
Seasonings to taste

Directions:
1 – Place potatoes in at least 1” of water in a pot on the stove. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and cook until tender
2 – Chop onion
3 – Melt butter in sauté pan, add onions and garlic; cook until translucent
4 – Add frozen veggies and cook until tender
5 – Add ground beef until no longer pink; drain excess fat
6 – Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and other seasonings to taste
7 – Cook uncovered for around 10 min, adding broth to keep from drying out
8 – Drain potatoes; add butter and mash
9 – Add seasonings to taste
10 – Spread cooked meat / veggie filling on the bottom of a casserole dish
11 – Spread mashed potatoes over the top
12 – Bake at 400° for 30-45 min, until browned and bubbling
